Welcome to Camping on the Prairie — our newest venture here at Mooloolah Valley Ranch! Pitch your tent or park your caravan around the beautiful lagoons, surrounded by the wide-open prairie and the sounds of nature. Whether you’re a horse lover, a family looking for adventure, or just craving the great outdoors — this is the place for you.
🔥 The Big Fire Pit
Gather around a massive campfire under the stars every evening. Bring your guitars, your marshmallows, and your best yarns. There’s nothing quite like a country night sky over the lagoon.
🐴 Meet the Animals
Our team of horses, ponies, and donkeys are right across the lagoon. Kids can spend hours washing, grooming, and leading them around — or even bring a pony to the campsite to play with!
🚿 Excellent Facilities
A funky outdoor hot-water shower, powered sites, clean toilet facilities, and BBQ areas. If the weather turns, our big Country Barn is right there as a wet-weather backup.

Tents, caravans & camping buses welcome. Includes powered site, hot-water outdoor shower, clean toilets, BBQ facilities, and use of the Barn in bad weather.

Trail Riding Add-On
Enhance your stay with a guided horse riding trek through the mountains and rainforest. 1 hr $100 · 1.5 hr $150 · Kids half hour $50.
